VH HAP

HAP 220
HAP 240

HAP 265
The VH HAP was designed by the Van Haute establishments during the 1960s. It was one of the first outdoor lighting fixtures from the Brussels brand.
The HAP consists of: a body made of enamelled aluminium, hammered and painted grey, a striated plexiglass bowl equipped with a neoprene seal fixed by stainless steel hooks, and a reflector made of enamelled sheet metal in white. The luminaire is secured by a bracket designed solely for its use.
The HAP is available in 3 different sizes:
- The HAP 120 for FT 20W lamp: (information unknown to date)
- The HAP 240 for FT lamps 2x40W: (information unknown to date)
- The HAP 265 for FT lamps 2x65W: (information unknown to date)
The VH HAP has experienced great success in private lighting, in many businesses, and even in some homes. For public lighting, it is quite discreet compared to the successes of Schréder and ACEC. Nevertheless, a few examples have been located in La Calamine in the Liège region.
Abroad, it could be found in Dunkirk and in some villages in the north of France.
